School, Center & Unit Lockups
University branding must remain consistent across all communication when incorporating individual units (schools, departments, offices and programs).
The UT Dallas marks may be combined into one logo with an institutional unit only in the manner presented here. The lockup is preferred because it contains the full name of the University. However, for promotional items and instances where space is at a premium, a shortcut may be employed.

Other Institutional Branding
Centers and Institutes may apply for consideration of a customized logo based on the following minimum qualifications:
- The primary mission and focus of the Center is related to clinical research and/or patient care; and,
- A significant portion of the center’s operational expenses are covered by privately raised external resources, grants and/or revenues produced through services provided by the center.
Centers qualifying for an exception to logo brand standards must receive approval prior to implementing logo design. Requests for logo development should be forwarded to marketing@utdallas.edu.
When using an independent center logo, it is necessary to acknowledge an association with and include a prominent reference to The University of Texas at Dallas.
